Aisha Jamila is an American actress best known for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated since 2003 by delivering impressive performances in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit, 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. In 2005, she was noticed first for her performance as Anna as Anna in Assault on Precinct 13 However, it was her character as Fannie Lou (a women's activist for rights) on the biographical All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind was also recognized for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's time-travel show, the drama Underground.
